RecoveryConnect mobile now has an optional On Hook photo for agents in the field. With the increased number of vehicles on the road with an e-brake in addition to AWD, many lenders have shifted to pre-approved flatbed and/or tow dollies fees since this equipment is required to complete the recovery. Adding the On-Hook photo within the On-Hook process allows the agency to document and prove the equipment use, including the image on the condition report.
Here’s how it works:
In RCM, click On-Hook
On the confirmation screen, click “Yes, with Photo” (they can also choose "Yes" and skip the photo)
You can also report on On-Hook photos via My Reports in RecoveryConnect. Learn more about On-Hook photo reporting here.

Subject: On-Hook Photo to Document Tow Dollies
MBSi has developed a new, optional photo capture in the On-Hook process to quickly document the use of tow dollies and flatbeds. Now, when a field agent using RCM confirms On-Hook you will have the option to confirm and take a photo at the same time by choosing Yes with Photo. Photos taken from this screen will automatically be added to the Asset Recovery Photos and labeled Tow Dolly/Flatbed. Because [lender name] has pre-approved flatbed and tow dollies fees, this optional photo gives the service provider an opportunity to capture proof of the equipment used. THIS PHOTO IS NOT REQUIRED TO COMPLETE THE RECOVERY.
Training for each of [lender name] service providers will be provided and coordinated via Michelle Cunningham (MBSi Corp, National Sales Manager).
