This article applies to agency alpha tester users 





Step 1: Make sure your user has Alpha Tester as an employee type  




Step 2: Go to Settings > Case Import Tool 



Step 3: Click the Download RC Sample File or use your own file with the required fields below 

Note: If you are exporting a report from RDN, you will not need to use the sample file. Just upload the report with the proper displayed columns. 

 


Step 4: Fill out the spreadsheet with the following information 


  • VIN Number (Identification Number)

  • Client Name 

  • Lienholder Name

  • Borrower First Name 

  • Borrower Last Name 

  • Borrower Home Address 

  • Borrower Home City 

  • Borrower Home State

  • Borrower Home Zip code 

  • Case Type 


Step 5: Click the +Case Import Profiles and fill out the form 



Step 6: Define Columns from the spreadsheet uploaded, then click Next 



  • Column Name From File - These are the titles from the file uploaded 

  • Bind to RC Data - This will be what the column would be called in RecoveryConnect 

  • Sample Data from File - This is the data from the first cell of information 



Step 7: Define Entity by selecting the RC Entity from the drop-down, then click Next

  • Companies in CSV file - this is the client when there is a lienholder involved 

  • Lienholder in CSV file - this is the lienholder on the case 



Step 8: Define Case Type by selecting the RC case type the from drop-down, then click Next   


Step 9: Define Case Status by selecting the RC case status drop-down, then click Next 



Step 10: Case Assignment - fill out the areas that apply, then click Next 



Step 11: Save Import Template - fill out areas that apply, then click Complete 



Step 12: Once the profile is completed, click the Use Profile button 



Step 13: Upload the CVS file with data, then click Process File 



Once file has processed your cases will show under your whole company open cases list
