Violence against recovery agents has become an increasing concern in the repossession industry. Violent Event systematically holds cases where violence occurred to make a difference in the epidemic. It prevents other agents from accepting cases while it’s in review with the case originator.
To report a violent event, an agent can report the borrower or location for the case in RecoveryConnect and RecoveryConnect Mobile the minute they encounter violence on the job. This puts the case on hold, preventing other agents from accepting it. Violent Event then alerts lenders of violent cases, allowing them to decide whether to close a case.


Step 1: From the case card view, click Options



Step 2: Select Mark case with violence



Step 3: Select whether the violent event is the Borrower or the Address 



Step 4: Select Reason from drop-down

Step 5: Write a Note about the event

Step 6: (Optional) Check the box if police were contracted 

Step 7: (Optional) Attach Document 

Step 8: Save Statement
