Getting Started: Log in to the Spotter portal – Use this URL: https://gospotter.io/spottee and enter your username and password. 

Note: this is the same username and password you currently use for RecoveryConnect.


Map View


Step 1: Click on the Map View to view the address pins for spot.



Show/Hide Filters: Filter the pins you see based on your selections.

Status: What status is the address assignment in? 

  • All Statuses 

  • New - Address assignment has not been accepted yet.

  • Open - Address assignment has been accepted and is being worked.

  • Completed - When the address assignment has been finished.

  • Cancelled - When the address assignment has been cancelled.

Case Status: What status the case itself is in. 

  • All Statuses 

  • Open - The Case is currently being worked on.

  • Closed - The case is no longer available. 

  • Repossessed - The Case has been completed. 

Filter By Time: When you want to see what has happened in the time frame chosen.

  • Last 24 hours 

  • Last 7 Days 

  • Last 30 days 

  • Custom Range 

Vehicle Spotted: 

  • Both

  • Yes

  • No

Step 2: Click on a pin on the map.

Step 3: Click View Details to see the completed assignment information.




Spotter Job Addresses 

Step 1: Click Spotter Job Addresses 



Import Addresses 

  1. Click Import Addresses 
  2. Click "Click Here" to download the template 
  3. Upload File  
  4. Once the file turns green, click Upload 



Export Addresses 

  1. Click Export Addresses 
  2. Select the columns you desire
  3. Click Export



Address Header Explanation 

Click the three lines by Search to customize what you see.

  • ID - The number is specific to the RecoveryConnect.

  • VIN - Vehicle Identification Number

  • YMM - Year, Make, and Model of the vehicle 

  • Address - Address where to search for the vehicle

  • City 

  • State 

  • Zip

  • Status - The status of the address to be verified. 

    • New - Spotter has not yet accepted the address. 

    • Accepted - Spotter has accepted the address. 

    • Completed - Address has been processed. 

    • Cancelled - The address has been cancelled for spot.

  • Address Type - This will display the type of address.

  • Spotted - Vehicle has been spotted. 

  • Drive Away - The Spotter was unable to access the vehicle and had to drive away. 

  • Plate Process Results - License Plate Number.

  • Comments - Notes related to the address.

  • Date Created - When the address was put into the spotter program.

  • Date Completed - When the address has been processed to completion. 

View - Allows you to view job specifics. 

    


Edit - This will allow you to edit the address while it is still in a 'New' status, and click 'Save Changes' when you are done.



Vin Status Change 

You can update the case status based on what is in RecoveryConnect. 

  1. Click Vin Status Change. 
  2. Enter the VINs you would like to update.
  3. Select the status you want to assign to them.
    • Closed 
    • Repossessed 
  4. Click Process VINs.



Settings 

Set up notifications that you can get through email.

  1. Click on Settings. 
  2. Enter your email address. 
  3. Click boxes for Address Run and/or Vehicle Spotted. 
  4. Click Save.
