To mark a case as repossession pending, or On-Hook:
Step 1: From the RCM dashboard, click on My Addresses or Map to locate the case/collateral you would like to mark On-Hook.
Step 2: From the My Addresses screen, select the case to open the case detail screen.
Step 3: Click on the green hook icon from the case details screen to mark a case as pending repossession,
Note: Once the collateral has been marked on-hook RCM sends an update to the case in RecoveryConnect as well.
Step 4: After clicking the green On-Hook icon, a confirmation notification will pop up on the screen.
Clicking No will cancel the action and the case will remain in your active cases list.
Clicking Yes will confirm that the collateral has been recovered and the case in RCM will be moved to the To-do list to complete the required information such as Asset Recovery form and Photos.
Step 5: If you confirm by clicking Yes, you will be asked if you want to proceed to complete the asset recovery.
Clicking Yes will take you to the asset recovery page. To learn more about Completing Asset Recovery go to How to complete an Asset Recovery
Clicking No will return you to your previous page and the Case will be added to your To-do List for Asset Recovery completion at a later time.
How to Use On-Hook with Photo
Step 1: Select a case and click the green Hook
Step 2: After clicking the green On-Hook icon, a confirmation notification will pop up on the screen.
Clicking No will cancel the action and the case will remain in your active cases list.
Clicking Yes with Photo will allow you to take an on-hook photo
Note: This will come in handy when using tow dollies or a flatbed.
Clicking Yes will confirm that the collateral has been recovered and the case in RCM will be moved to the To-do list to complete the required information such as the Asset Recovery form and Photos.
