After the company is set up, you will have the option to set up a chosen or system-generated password for your users. You can change your password any time by following these steps.
Note: When the user logs in for the first time, they will be redirected to the Account Settings page, where they will have the option to set their password.
Password change or reset
Step 1: Hover over your name and go to Settings
Step 2: Click on Account Settings
Step 3: Enter the current password
Step 4: Enter a new password (Please take note of the requirements on the right of the screen)
Step 5: Enter a second time to confirm

After successfully changing or resetting your password, you will get the following message:
Forgotten Password Recovery
For a forgotten password/password recovery, click on Forgot Password
The system will ask for the username and recovery answer for the security question set up for the login.
When entering the answer successfully, a link will be sent to the email address on file for the user.
Note: Users will get an email with a link to reset their password.
Once the user clicks on the link provided, they will get access to the following screen to change their password:
When the password is successfully changed they will get a login screen and the user can log in with a new password.
Note: If the user has never logged in to RecoveryConnect after registering, or if they have not set up a security question, then above mentioned method of password recovery is not possible by using the password link.
In that case, only a user with admin permissions has the authority to change their password.
