This article applies to recovery agencies 


Lot Requirements enable the forwarder/lender to require that the storage lot(s) where recovered collateral is stored is either:

  • RISC Inspected
  • Approved by the client 


Note: If a lender or forwarder requires a lot to be RISC inspected or approved, in this field the agency company profile can only be updated by an MBSi admin. 


RISC Inspected

If RISC Inspected is selected as a requirement, the forwarder/lender will only accept collateral storage at RISC inspected locations. 

An MBSi admin will verify the RISC Cert ID, inspection date, and expiration date for the lot and will update your company profile.  




Approved


If Approved is selected as a lot requirement by the forwarder and/or lender, you will be required to store recovered collateral at a client-approved lot.


Note: If an address has not been approved or meets the proper client requirements then you will not be able to choose that address when doing recoveries.
