This article applies to Recovery Agencies


This article explains how to turn on the DRN integration in RecoveryConnect to access historical plate scan data. Through this integration, recovery agencies can view and validate historical LPR addresses to add these important locations to the RCM.

Note: LPR historical plate scan data is only available to Pro customers


Step 1: Request Company Connection

If you have already received notification that your company activation is ready, skip to Step 3. Send an email to support@mbsicorp.com to request your DRN connection be created. The support team will work directly with DRN to ensure your company is ready to connect.

Subject: LPR Company Connection

I request that LPR account data with DRN be integrated with MBSi's platforms, including RecoveryConnect. My agency has a valid and active license with DRN and is in good standing. Please let this serve as our request to make DRN vehicle data available.

Step 2: Confirm Company Connection

Receive confirmation from MBSi Support that your company connection is ready. 


Step 3: Setup LPR Entity Connection in RecoveryConnect

Note: Steps must be performed by an admin at the company.

  1. Login to RecoveryConnect

  2. Go to Entities > LPR Companies

  3. Search for "DRN"

  4. Click "+Add"

  5. Click on "DRN"

  6. Scroll down to LPR PLATE SHARING

  7. Check the box next to "Enable Data Sharing For This Company (Will Only Share Cases with Plate Data, Open and LPR Staged Status)"

  8. Click to Enable all items in this section.





You're all set! Here are some things you should know:

  • It can take up to 12 hours for DRN data to appear due to their validation process to send scan data

  • Only cases with a plate will be sent to DRN. You can add the plate when the case is created or by going to Edit Case Info on the case details screen.

  • LPR data will appear on the Dashboard of the Case Details screen and on the LPR tab.

  • You must mark the address Valid in order for this to appear on RCM.
