Released 7/8: Gives agencies the option to control custom icons on an admin level, or to continue to allow custom icons on a field agent level and introduced new options for customized icons displayed within RCM to improve field logistics to run addresses efficiently.

Icon Control

With company-level icons, admins can control the icons displayed in RCM for new addresses, priority clients, case types and addresses.

Go to Settings > Mobile App Settings

The toggle switch under Mobile Application Settings gives you to option to regulate the icons used for your agency or you can continue to allow customization on a field agent level.

The OFF position means your agency admin controls the icons

The ON position will allow field agents to customize their own icons

Note: Users will ONLY be allowed to customize their own icons if no company override exists.

For example: if the address is a New Address, the company setting for New Address will always appear, regardless of if the field agent has an address icon set for that address type.

Note: if a user is logged into RCM when icons are created, they need to log out and back in to see the update.

Icon Options & Prioritization

  • New Address
  • Priority Clients
  • Case Type Override
  • Field Override
  • Address Type

Note: These icons will take priority and override any Address Type icons previously customized by your users.

New Address

This applies to any address without address updates. Until an address update is created, no custom icons set by users or your company will be seen in the mobile app.

Address updates are created by

  • Selecting an address when creating an update in RecoveryConnect

Priority Client Color

When this custom icon is set up, the color selected will always override any of the icon colors previously set by users or your company regardless of the icon shown.

Selecting a Priority Client Color is optional.

Note: Client is defined as any connected Client under Entities.

Case Type Override

Case Type Overrides will override any custom address type icon set by users or your company for specific case types only:

  • Voluntary
  • Impound Voluntary
  • Impound Involuntary
  • Field Visit
  • Condition Report

Field Override

Gives admins in the office using RecoveryConnect and agents in the field using RCM the ability to change the icon presented on the map to:

  • Pickup
  • Unit Spotted
  • Door Knock

Note: If the toggle switch is ON, allowing field agents to customize their icons, then company set icons will be overridden if the employee has customized icons in their profile settings.

Field Override icons can also be managed by case workers in the office within a case on the case details tab.

Go to Addresses and References > click the gear
