A coverage area allows you to name and designate a specific geographical area that can be referenced in a Smart Invoicing contract. This allows you to assign location-specific pricing pertaining to fees.  


Setting up Coverage Area(s)


Coverage area(s) can be set up in three ways:

  1. Select state/county  
  2. Circle the coverage area 
  3. Draw the coverage area


To begin setting up your coverage area(s), click on the plus sign under Your Areas.


Note: initially, you will be zoomed into the county view.



To set up a coverage area by state


Step 1: Zoom out so you see the map in a state-level view. 

Note: at the top of the screen you see the Level is shown as State. This view allows you to choose one or multiple states in a coverage area.


Step 2: Next to Level: State, click on Select Areas 

Step 3: Click on the states that should be included in the coverage area. 

Note: when selecting multiple states and/or counties within a coverage area, the states or counties must have adjoining borders.

Step 4: Name the coverage area

Step 5: Click Save Changes


To set up a coverage area by county

 

Step 1: Zoom in so you see the map in a county-level view

Note: at the top of the screen you see the Level is shown as County. This view allows you to choose one or multiple counties in a coverage area.


Step 2: Next to Level: County, click on Select Areas 

Step 3: Click on the counties that should be included in the coverage area. 

Note: when selecting multiple states and/or counties within a coverage area, the states or counties must have adjoining borders.  

Step 4: Name the coverage area

Step 5: Click Save Changes

 

Set coverage area using the circle function

 

    Step 1: Click the Circle Area button on the top

    Step 2: Select the coverage area starting with the center point and drag out (the radius displays in miles)

    Step 4: Name the coverage area

    Step 5: Click Save Changes



Set coverage area using the draw function


    Step 1: Click on the Draw Area button on the top

    Step 2: Draw the coverage area

    Step 3: Name the coverage area

    Step 4: Click Save Changes
