This article explains how to add your compliance certificate in RecoveryConnect. Anyone who has access to manage employees is able to update compliance certifications. Effective October 17, 2022, agents can use their CARS or CCRS certificate. Scroll to the bottom of this article for help with troubleshooting.
How to Add a Certification for the First Time
Step 1: From the home screen navigate to Settings>Company Employees
Step 2: Select the employee you wish to add the certification to
Step 3: Under the Employee Information screen navigate to the CARS/ CCRS Certified toggle
Step 4: Click the toggle ON
Step 5: Enter CARS or CCRS Certification ID then Validate
How to Update CARS or CCRS Certifications
Step 1: Select the employee with the expired cert that needs updating
Step 2: Under the Employee Information screen go to the CARS Certified toggle
Step 3: Turn the toggle off and then back on again
Step 4: Enter the certification ID then Validate
FAQs
Where do I find my CARS certification ID?
On your certificate, look at the top left corner.
Where do I find my CCRS certification ID?
Login to ARA and find your membership ID. ARA uses the membership ID and NOT the certification ID for CCRS. You can find detailed instructions here.
What do I do if RecoveryConnect says "invalid certification"?
This is an issue with your certification ID and must be handled with your provider. Please contact your compliance education provider.
