This article applies to agency company admins and accountants

Smart Invoicing allows you to generate client invoices, saving time and ensuring you capture key billables. Smart Invoicing matches your contracts to the client and lienholders on the case and then listens to specific case events to auto-generate relevant fees to your case. The following article discusses how you can set up those contracts.

What’s Needed to Get Started:

Have your contract(s) in hand before you get started!

  • You’ll need to know:

    • Recovery Fees

    • Lienholders

    • Misc Fees (any fees that are not recovery fees)

    • Any notes for the fees (ex, requires receipt to bill)

  • For forwarding contracts, add any missing lienholders

Note: Under the Smart Invoicing Lienholders tab, you can add lienholders with whom you don't need a connection for Smart Invoicing Contracts.

  • Add coverage area for any region-specific pricing

  • Make sure Service Items are set up!

Note: Recovery fees need to be associated with a case type
