This article applies to customers signing up for lien verification Overview
The Lien Verification Queue in RecoveryConnect is a centralized workspace for running, monitoring, filtering, and acting on lien verification results across your portfolio.
Instead of relying on manual reports or performing lien checks one case at a time, the queue allows users to:
View lien verification results in one location
Search and filter cases quickly
Monitor potential lien losses
Access cases directly from the queue
Automate lien verification workflows
This makes lien verification visible, searchable, and actionable for your team.
Accessing the Lien Verification Queue
Follow these steps to open the queue:
Open RecoveryConnect
Navigate to Settings
Select Lien Verification
You will be directed to the Lien Verification Queue, where all lien verification activity is displayed.

Reports provide additional analytical insights, such as:
Lienholder match activity
Verification trends
Historical results
Note: A future enhancement will allow reports to be embedded directly into the Lien Verification Queue.
Lien Verification Settings
(My Company Profile)
Configuration settings that control lien verification behavior can be found under:
Settings → My Company Profile

Lienholder Verification on Case Create / Assign
When enabled, a lien verification check will run automatically when:
A new case is created, and/or
A case is assigned
This ensures lien verification happens immediately when cases enter the workflow.
Hold Case on Possible Lien Loss
When this setting is enabled:
Any case flagged as a possible lien loss will automatically be placed On Hold.
This prevents the case from progressing until the lien status is reviewed.
Lienholder Alias
Lienholder aliases allow you to add known variations of your organization’s name to improve lien matching accuracy.
Examples include:
Abbreviations
Punctuation differences
“Inc.” vs “LLC” variations
Spacing differences
Adding aliases helps prevent missed matches due to minor name variations.
VinChex (Data Provider)
When VinChex is enabled:
RecoveryConnect will return lien verification results from the VinChex data provider.
Lien verification checks will be billed according to your VinChex agreement.
VinChex – Always Validate CA Liens
When this setting is enabled:
Additional lien checks are performed for California-addressed cases.
Because these checks use specialized validation sources, they may result in higher overall verification costs compared to standard checks.
